Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Sumit S (trading as Sage Ventures) ("we", "us"), the operator of Womb of Gold at wog.sageventures.co.in (the "Game"). Please read them carefully. When you tick the sign-up box and continue, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't sign in or use the Game.
1. Who can play
- To create an account you must be 18 years or older. The Game contains horror themes, frightening sounds and images of violence, and it accepts payments. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account.
- Young people aged 13 to 17 may play only through a child profile that their parent or legal guardian adds to the guardian's own account (see section 1A). Nobody under 13 may play.
- You may hold one account. You must give accurate information and keep your Google account or email account secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- You must not use the Game where doing so is illegal for you.
1A. Child profiles (ages 13 to 17)
- A signed-in account holder who is 18 or older may add up to 4 child profiles for children aged 13 to 17 for whom they are the parent or legal guardian. To do so they give their full name and year of birth, set a 4-digit parent PIN, and confirm their consent for each child.
- By adding a child profile, the guardian confirms that the details they give are true, accepts these Terms on the child's behalf, and agrees to supervise the child's use of the Game. The guardian is responsible for everything done through the child profile, as part of their own account.
- A child profile shows only a nickname, never a photo. It never appears on the Live board, and appears on the Today and All-time boards only if the guardian turns that on. It cannot make payments; paid levels are open to it only while the guardian's own pass is active.
- Leaving a child profile, switching profiles or paying needs the parent PIN. The guardian must keep the PIN private. The PIN is a convenience lock on a shared device, not a security guarantee, and the guardian should sign out on devices the child uses alone.
- The guardian can pause, hide or delete a child profile at any time from Family profiles. Deleting it erases the child's progress and every score the profile posted.
- If we have reason to believe a child profile was added by someone who isn't the child's parent or guardian, or for a child under 13, we may pause or delete it and suspend the account.
- When a child turns 18, they should create their own account. A child profile can't be converted into an adult account.
2. What the Game is
- Womb of Gold is an online social game played for entertainment. You never stake money and you can never win money.
- Coins, scores, levels, ranks and anything else earned in the Game are virtual items with no monetary value. They can't be sold, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for money, goods or services, inside or outside the Game.
- Leaderboards are for fun only. We don't offer prizes, rewards or winnings of any kind, and we will never ask you to pay to win anything.
- Womb of Gold is an original game. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any film, studio, production company or other brand.
AI rivals. The leaderboards include 1,000 computer-controlled rivals that keep playing at all hours. They are always marked AI on the boards, in the Live list and in your ranking, which also shows your rank among human players separately. They aren't real people, hold no accounts and can't win anything.
Rankings. The All-time and Today boards rank players by rank points: your best haul in coins, lowered by how often you die (up to half) and retry a level (up to a quarter). Leaderboard positions are for fun only and carry no prize.
3. Paid access
- Levels 1 to 5 are free. Levels 6 to 21 need a paid pass: First Descent ₹199 (30 days), Deep Descent ₹499 (90 days), Abyss Descent ₹799 (180 days) or Eternal Descent ₹1,999. See the Pricing page. Prices are in Indian Rupees and may change in future, but never for a pass you've already bought.
- Every pass is a one-time payment. Nothing renews automatically, and we never take money from you without you paying again.
- "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the Game, not for your lifetime. If we close the Game, section 9 applies.
- For v0 PhonePe QR payments, you pay in your UPI app and submit the 12-digit UTR. We verify the transaction and manually approve the pass; submitting a UTR alone does not unlock levels. We never ask for or store your UPI PIN or bank password. If Razorpay checkout is enabled, it processes that payment under its own terms and confirms the unlock electronically.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4. Fair play
You agree not to:
- cheat, use bots, scripts, modified clients or exploits, or submit scores you didn't earn by playing normally;
- probe, scan, attack, overload or try to break into the Game, its servers, its database or other players' accounts, or get around any security or payment check;
- copy, reverse-engineer or resell the Game or any part of it, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use offensive, hateful, sexual or misleading display names, impersonate anyone, or use someone else's phone number, account or payment method;
- create several accounts to abuse free levels, leaderboards or offers.
If we reasonably believe you've broken this section, we may remove scores, reset progress, hide you from leaderboards, or suspend or block your account. We'll tell you why when we can. For serious or deliberate abuse, such as payment fraud, attacks or cheating, a paid pass may end without a refund, unless the law requires otherwise.
5. Our content and your display name
The Game, its code, artwork, characters, sounds and text belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment. You keep any rights in your display name. You let us show your chosen player nickname with your scores on public leaderboards while your account exists. Your Google name and profile photo are not shown publicly.
6. Accidental loss of data and progress
We back up the Game's database regularly and work to keep your information safe. Even so, software, servers and third-party services can fail. Data can be lost or damaged through bugs, outages, cyber-attacks, mistakes or events outside our control. You agree that:
- we don't guarantee that progress, scores, leaderboard positions, run history, display names or other game data will always be kept or can be restored;
- run history is deleted automatically after 60 days, and we may reset or correct leaderboards and scores, for example to remove cheating or fix errors;
- if your paid pass is lost, our records will restore it. If they can't, we'll restore it once you show proof of payment, such as a Razorpay receipt or the UTR from your UPI app. Please keep your payment receipts. Where we can reasonably restore lost progress, we will;
- apart from restoring a paid pass you're entitled to, we are not liable for the loss of virtual items, progress or scores, which have no monetary value (section 2).
7. Health and safety warning
The Game uses flashing light, sudden sounds, screen shake and frightening themes. Don't play if you have photosensitive epilepsy, a heart condition or anxiety that such content could worsen. Take regular breaks. Stop at once if you feel unwell.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with your device, or free from harmful components. We may change, add or remove levels, features and content at any time.
9. If we change or close the Game
We may suspend the Game for maintenance or security, or close it permanently. If we close it permanently, we'll give at least 30 days' notice on the Game where we reasonably can. For time-limited passes, we'll refund the unused part. For a Lifetime pass bought in the 24 months before closure, we'll refund a share of the price based on the unused part of those 24 months.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including liability for fraud, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other laws that protect consumers. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, goodwill, opportunity, profit or enjoyment, however it arises;
- we are not liable for losses caused by your device, internet connection, Google or email account, payment provider or other third parties, or by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure);
- our total liability to you for all claims about the Game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
11. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, costs and claims, including reasonable legal fees, that arise because you broke these Terms, misused the Game or broke the law. This doesn't apply where we caused the loss ourselves.
12. Third-party services
Hosting, sign-in emails and payments rely on our web host (Hostinger), Google (only for Google sign-in), your UPI app for QR payments and Razorpay if its checkout is enabled. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We aren't responsible for their outages or acts.
13. Ending your account
You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to info@sageventures.co.in. Deletion is permanent. It ends any paid pass, and no refund is due unless our Refund Policy applies. We may keep some records after deletion where the law requires it, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end or suspend your account as described in section 4.
14. Complaints and grievances
For any complaint, including about content, your data, payments or these Terms, contact our Grievance Officer, Sumit S, at info@sageventures.co.in. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days, and in any case within one month. If you're not satisfied, you may use any remedy the law gives you. This includes approaching a Consumer Commission (online at e-Daakhil), the Data Protection Board of India for personal-data complaints, or, where the online gaming law allows it, the Online Gaming Authority of India.
15. Law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or connected with them or the Game, are governed by the laws of India. Subject only to the rights that Indian consumer law gives you and that can't be excluded by contract (such as filing a complaint before a Consumer Commission where you live or work, under section 34 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019), the courts at Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we submit to those courts. Before going to court, please contact our Grievance Officer so we can try to resolve the problem.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when the law or the Game changes. We'll post the new version with its date. If a change materially affects you, we'll ask you to review and accept it the next time you sign in. If you don't accept, you may stop using the Game and ask us to delete your account.
17. General
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer your account or these Terms. We may transfer them to someone who takes over the Game, and your rights won't be reduced. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Game.
